The OBDKey® is a match
box sized portable scan tool used to quickly and easily to diagnose vehicle
problems.

The OBDKey®
Unit
Owning a small portable
scan tool is essential to monitor the healthy state of your vehicle's engine
management system for regular check-ups between services and maintenance
periods.
The OBDKey is available
with a USB connection, a Bluetooth interface or a WLAN /
WiFi interface.
The OBDKey Bluetooth
gives connectivity options for Windows PCs, Windows Mobile devices and
Android systems that have Bluetooth.
The OBDKey USB
version is more for Windows PCs or netbooks that have a USB master port.
The OBDKey WLAN
is suitable for Windows PCs, Windows Mobile devices and iPhone and iPod
Touchs that have a WLAN radio. In terms of speed the USB and WLAN are faster
than Bluetooth.
The WLAN / WiFi
or Bluetooth
connection
is usually preferred where you prefer to operate a wire-free diagnostic
environment.
The USB connection
is usually preferred where you already have a PC or laptop equipped with
a USB port.
Bluetooth offers a very
flexible option as many handheld devices such as Pocket PC's, PDA's, Palm
devices and mobile phones have Bluetooth built in. This means you can use
your own handheld device to access the vehicle data with the OBDKey.
Software is supplied for
the PC and Pocket PC (PDA, Windows CE), Palm, Windows Smartphones and
Android versions are also available.
Note that the
OBDKey OBD Bluetooth unit is not the same as an OBD WLAN. Contact us for
further details.
